THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE OFFICE IN BELGRADE AND 10 YEARS OF INVOLVEMENT OF PARLIAMENTARIANS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA IN THE PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY OF THE COUNCIL OF EUROPE
Council of Europe Office in Belgrade celebrated the 10th anniversary and 10 years of the involvement of Parliamentarians of the Republic of Serbia in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. On this occasion the creative workshop was held on December 16th 2011 in Small hall of the National Assembly House.
Welcoming note addressed Ms. Nadia Cuk, Deputy Head of Mission while numerous guests were greeted by Prof. Dr. Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr. Dragoljub Micunovic, Chairperson of the Serbian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and Ms. Antje Rothemund, Head of Mission, Council of Europe Office in Belgrade.
During this event participants had an opportunity to see documentary film “What Kind of Society We Want to Live in?”, directed by Ms. Irena Fabri from the regional civil society organization “Dokukino”. After the projection representatives from governmental and non-governmental sector opened a debate within the workshop “Towards a Culture of Human Rights: Vision for Serbia” that was moderated by Mr. Aleksandar Miladinovic, journalist from B92.
