DISKOBOLOS 2010 FOR DIGITAL EUROPE

At the closing ceremony which was held at the Hotel Continental in Beograd, this year's the highest quality solutions in the application of information and communication technologies in almost all spheres of economy and non-economy were announced by rewarding international prizes  Diskobolos. This was an opportunity to see and present achievements from all over the world, as well as from former Yugoslav Republics.

Software for the project Geographic Information Network by the author Mirjana Prljević, International Secretary General of CIVIS, competed in the category of Design. Geographic Information Network – GIM is the project supported by the Association CIVIS and implemented with the assistance of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development for the EXPO 2010 in Shanghai.

GIM has been awarded with the special prize which was received by Bojana Popovic, Secretary General of Association of NGOs in Southeast Europe - CIVIS.
