BALTIC PRACTICE

CIVIS International Secretary General, Mrs. Mirjana Prljevic held a lecture at the 9th Annual Summer Visiting Session of Students Research Centre "Baltic Practice", which was organized on 1-9 August 2009 in Bruges, Belgium, with the help of Higher School of Economics (Moscow).

Summer school was devoted to 5 main topics: Small Entrepreneurship, Human Rights, Democratic Development, Corporate Governance, and the Bologna Process. During the summer school nearly 40 students and PhD students, together with professors and experts from Russia, Slovakia, Belgium, and Council of Europe discussed these topics, focusing on their own spheres of interests. This multidisciplinary project incorporates research, education in the sphere of human rights, as well as issues of European cooperation and integration.
